The Provincial Vaccination Team launches the three-day national simultaneous vaccination activity at the Public Market, in La Trinidad, Benguet this morning graced by Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas, DOH-CAR Assistant Regional Director Dr. Amelita Pangilinan, DILG-Benguet Director Rufina Fegcan, and personnel from the Provincial Health Office and PDOHO. The Provincial Vax team mobilized by Gov. Diclas in partnership with the DOH and other volunteer groups is assisting the municipal LGUs in ramping up vaccination activities to reach herd immunity in the province before the end of the year.

Driven by its mission: Ensure Improvement of Quality of Life in Benguet, the Province of Benguet obtained a human development index of 0.883 in 2009. The province of Benguet promises its constituents high age expectancy, accessible high caliber education and more than sufficient way of living. This, however, can't be achieved without the help of its people.

The cultural beliefs and innate characteristics of the people made it possible for them to strive and develop higher quality of life without destroying the cradle that they live in.
