The ongoing construction of the new three-story Kapangan District Hospital (KDH) in Kapangan Central funded and being implemented by the Provincial Government of Benguet led by Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas.The first phase of the project has recently been completed while the construction of the second phase will soon begin according to the Provincial Engineering Office (PEO). Governor Diclas allocated funds in the amount of P10 million for the second phase of the project, health being one of his major priority programs under his HEALTHIER Benguet agenda.The project broke ground in 2021.

World Day Against Child Labor (WDACL)

On 07 December 1987, the United Nations General Assembly issued a resolution declaring the 26th of June of every year as the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT). It aims to strengthen action and cooperation in achieving the goal of a world free of drug abuse. For this year, since the date of the IDADAIT 2022 falls on a Sunday, the celebration will be held on 27 June 2022 (Monday), instead.
