Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas said the rehabilation of a section of Besocol-Ballay farm-to-market road that was affected by a major landslide triggered by a strong typhoon in 2020, has recently been completed and is now benefiting over 300 farmers in Ballay, Kabayan.

Driven by its mission: Ensure Improvement of Quality of Life in Benguet, the Province of Benguet obtained a human development index of 0.883 in 2009. The province of Benguet promises its constituents high age expectancy, accessible high caliber education and more than sufficient way of living. This, however, can't be achieved without the help of its people.

The cultural beliefs and innate characteristics of the people made it possible for them to strive and develop higher quality of life without destroying the cradle that they live in.
