June-162022-Municipality-of-La-Trinidad-72nd-Founding-Anniversary

My earnest congratulations to the Municipality of La Trinidad on its 72nd Founding Anniversary with the theme “Breaking Through @ 72: A Progressive and Resilient La Trinidad.” Your 72 years of growth and prosperity amid crags and bumps is a testament of your immense resilience and collective power that enabled you to beat all odds and become even more progressive. As you take on another year, may you continue to be bound to unity through your shared values and culture taught and passed on by our forebears to hurdle future impediments thrown in your way.

Albeit you are celebrating this milestone with simple activities due to the CoVID-19 restrictions, it is your renewed commitment to honoring your past and your overwhelming support and active participation in celebrating your heritage that make it great, joyous, and inspiring. Let me take this opportunity to commend all the Municipal officials of La Trinidad led by Mayor Romeo Salda for ensuring the welfare of your constituents and for progressively building a community of public-spirited people with strong sense of purpose.Congratulations! To our fellow iLa Trinidad, here and abroad, have a blessed and healthier founding anniversary celebration! Melchor Daguines Diclas, MDProvincial Governor

ROAD SECTIONS with an aggregate length of over 600 meters along Buyagan-Wangal-Banengbeng provincial road were constructed with road shoulders to help reduce passing conflicts between motor vehicles and pedestrians as well as to provide space for bicyclists to ride at their own pace. This includes the construction of a retaining wall and a barrier along a 45-meter section in Banengbeng to prevent vehicular accidents. Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas has earlier allocated P5 million for this project as part of the administration’s effort in providing easy and safe road access. IN PHOTO: Joint inspection activity by the Provincial Engineering Office and the Provincial Project Monitoring Committee to assess the quality of the project.
