Opening of Yupo-an-Penas FMR, Dalipey, Bakun, Benguet

Isa sa mga adhikain ni Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas mula nang siya ay maupo bilang gobernador ng Benguet ang matulungan ang ating mga magsasaka at mga residente ng mga malalayong barangay sa probinsya lalo na sa pagbibiyahe ng pasyente sa pinakamalapit na ospital sa pamamagitan ng pagbubukas at pagpapabuti ng mga farm-to-market road at iba pang mga kalasada sa probinsya.

Kamakailan lang natapos ang proyektong Opening of Yupo-An-Penas FMR sa Bakun, Benguet at ang Improvement of Lomon-Paykek Provincial Road sa Kapangan, Benguet na ngayo’y pinapakinabangan na ng mga benepisaryo. Iilan lamang ito sa marami nang proyekto na napunduhan ng lokal na gobyerno ng Benguet bilang parte ng HEALTHIER Benguet framework ni Governor Diclas.

Farmers and residents in Ampusongan, Bakun would often fear to travel through a portion of Ay-ay Cabutotan farm-to-market road during heavy rains due to its susceptibility to erosion. To address this concern, the said road section has recently been improved with a project cost of P2 million as part of the HEALTHIER Benguet agenda of Gov. Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas. This project is only one among the different road development projects funded and implemented by the Provincial Government of Benguet headed by Gov. The Provincial Vaccination Team launches the three-day national simultaneous vaccination activity at the Public Market, in La Trinidad, Benguet this morning graced by Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas, DOH-CAR Assistant Regional Director Dr. Amelita Pangilinan, DILG-Benguet Director Rufina Fegcan, and personnel from the Provincial Health Office and PDOHO. The Provincial Vax team mobilized by Gov. Diclas in partnership with the DOH and other volunteer groups is assisting the municipal LGUs in ramping up vaccination activities to reach herd immunity in the province before the end of the year.

VAX TO VAC!

VAX TO VAC! Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas last November 26 shares message of appreciation and gratitude to the nine lucky vaccinees who won the Vaccination to Vacation or Vax to Vac raffle draw of the Provincial Governor’s Office.

The Vax to Vac activity in partnership with the Provincial Tourism Office aims to promote CoVID-19 vaccination and mental health at the same time advertising local tourism sites in the province.

The lucky vaccinees were given free tour to the breath-taking environment of Um-a Farm in Tuba, Benguet where they experienced harvesting different farm products and learned some of the healthy recipes of Um-a. They were also given time to relax and enjoy the awesomeness of Palm Grove Resort also located in Tuba.

Governor Diclas is encouraging those aged 12 years and above to get vaxxed to get a chance to have a one-day free tour! Go get vaxxed!
