Arnold Corisay, a farmer in Taloy Norte, is happy to hear about the completion of the improvement project on Taloy-Bacsayan Provincial Road in Tuba saying he and other farmers will now be able to transport their produce without worrying about the poor and risky condition of the road. Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas last year allocated P3 million for the construction of retaining walls and concrete barriers along slide prone areas including road shoulders on narrow sections of the said provincial road in response to the needs of the locals. The project was implemented by the Provincial Engineering Office (PEO) and was completed last May 21.

Taloy Norte Barangay Captain Joel Pacio acknowledged the importance of the said project saying it truly addresses one of the major concerns of their residents especially during rainy days. Most of the residents here are farmers. Corisay said around 300 families of farmers will benefit from the newly completed project. Meanwhile, the Taloy-Bacsayan Provincial Road also serves as an alternate route for motorists passing through the Bayacsan section of the Marcos highway as it connects to the BLISTT road branching off the Marcos highway leading to San Pascual
