Mission
To ensure financial security, transparency in operations, and well defined accountability in the Provincial Government of Benguet through an effective accounting and internal control system, process innovations, and unwavering commitment of competent personnel.
Vision
The Provincial Accounting Office is envisioned to be a globally competitive financial information center, equipped with the latest technologies, and employed with committed personnel who goes the extra mile for clients, to deliver high quality financial reports both in substance and in form.
Mandate
The Provincial Accounting Office shall take charge of both the accounting and internal audit services of the Provincial Government of Benguet. It shall install and maintain internal audit system; review supporting documents before approval of disbursements to determine completeness of requirements; and shall prepare and submit financial statements to the governor, sanggunian, and other agencies concerned.
